I’m married with two beautiful girls. As my test subjects and frequent inspiration for culinary adventures, they are indispensable. We live near a large university about two and a half hours south of Chicago.
I don’t cook professionally, I just love food. Most of my food knowledge is learned from books, TV, or experience (mine and others’). The web has offered many useful pieces over the years, but it’s hard to separate the signal from the noise sometimes.
In addition to this blog, I also write Food articles for the local online magazine Smile Politely.
