Who likes Chocolate? Well, who doesn’t? Here is our simple Chocolate lava cake recipe.
This recipe is very simple, and easy, and addictive!
100 g unsalted butter.
100g semi sweet dark chocolate compound/bar.
100 g icing sugar.
2 eggs + 2 egg yolks.
50 g plain flour.
A pinch of salt.
Heat the oven to 180 C, gas mark 4, or 350 F
Melt the chocolate and butter in a medium bowl (I use a bain marie, but you can microwave it for a few seconds), set aside.
Beat the eggs, yolks, salt and sugar in a separate bowl, add flour, one tablespoon at a time, and mix well.
Fold the melted chocolate into the mixture and pour into the ramekins. Bake at 180°c for 10 minutes. It makes 4 big or 6 medium.
Serve while still hot, with a dusting of icing sugar.
